Hey all I figured out a sort of workaround for card priority order until they (eventually!!!!!!) add it. The app does give us the ability to change the value of the points/cash back a card gives.
If you go to the page where it shows the list of cash back %s for a card, at the bottom you can change the value of those points from 1% (1% = 1%) to a different amount.
I just changed a card I wanted to deprioritize to 0.99% so that instead of 5% on groceries it now shows 4.95%, which allows my other credit card with 5% cash back on groceries this quarter to “rise to the top” in my best card to use. All the other categories of cash back for my deprioritized card also show a lower value (for example, for drugstores it now shows 2.97%), but it still is my top card for that category, and I know that it’s really 3% cash back.
You could also make the card you want to prioritize worth a little more, like 1.01%, so it would show 5.05% in best card to use, instead of 5%

6 months and still nothing. And now the Legacy app is broken so you cant even add new cards... meaning no reason to use any version of this app

Julius Support told me that they are working on bringing back Best Card to use prioritization soon, and the ability to customize category cash back percentages. It seems that they really have a small team and can only make slow progress. I, too, am super frustrated about v2 not being available any more. They said it would take 2+ weeks of work to renew it (for some reason, I’m not sure why, it has some bugs but had been mostly working fine for me) and decided to focus instead on adding back features to v3.
I just sooooo wish they had kept v3 in Beta for like another year(?!) until it was actually ready for prime time, versus having it be 6 months in and we’re still missing a huge chunk of basic app functions. That’s what Beta is for.

Morgan Bowling I was just told via Support that they are NOT renewing v2 any more which means we are all stuck with v3 which still does not allow us to reorder cards on the Best Card to Use tab even though it’s been 6 months since v3 came out. I just feel like MaxRewards is not prioritizing its subscribers. Why should I pay for something when it doesn’t do what I use it for? I don’t understand why v2 can’t be renewed until v3 actually has all of the features we had in v2. Or at least some of these basic ones.

We plan on brining in all the features that you loved in v2 back into our v3 app. Some features just required additional polishing.
