I noticed in the recent announcement email that it said one way to help support MaxRewards is to apply for credit cards through MaxRewards. Historically I remember that has not been a revenue stream for MaxRewards and it was a subscription-funded model only.

Can an explanation of this please be added to the FAQs? It’s important for us all to understand how MaxRewards is making money and to have transparency. Is it also true that MaxRewards is not selling our information still? What about selling or using our information for targeted advertising?

I really really really hope that MaxRewards will not go the route of Mint, CreditKarma, NerdWallet, PointsGuy, etc in pushing people constantly to open more credit cards and steering ppl towards cards that aren’t the best deal but give the best commissions. The other change of having recommendations for biggest sign up bonus cards on our home page is 100% a page out of their book and I so don’t want MaxRewards to become like those sites. Thank you.
