Credit card rewards have become incredibly complicated and personalized this year, and one of our most requested feature has been been the ability to customize rewards.

With this release, we've fundamentally rearchitected how we organize card rewards and added the functionality to customize rewards.

New Features

Change the reward program associated with a card
Change the name of a reward group
Change the icon associated with a reward group
Modify included categories for a reward group
Modify excluded subcategories for a reward group (e.g. 6x on Grocery excluding Walmart)
Modify the reward rate on a reward group
Add time-based restrictions to reward groups
Add a spending or reward limit to reward groups
Restrict rewards to just the US
Restrict rewards to just online or offline purchases
Delete existing reward groups
Add new reward groups
Change your card

Improvements & Bug Fixes

Brand new view for rewards
Fixed a bug where the app would crash when refreshing data
Fixed a bug where invoices would not refresh
Fixed a bug where the app would not appear in Spotlight search on iOS
Fixed a bug where the app would sometimes become unresponsive when going to Card Settings
Fixed a bug where the screen would flicker while scrolling through transactions
Fixed a bug where having multiple of the same type of card would cause ordering issues on the Best Cards tab

Known Issues

The sorting of best cards on the Best Card tab is occasionally incorrect
Resetting all card rewards for a card may cause issues with rendering rewards
Resetting individual card rewards may cause issues with saving reward periods

This release is part of Early Access

The MaxRewards Early Access Program is an invite-only program where select users can get early access to new app versions. Early Access versions of the app may be less stable than the General Release.
